So who’s this Murda Beatz dude?

Just like Ronny J, Pierre Bourne, or Metro Boomin, Murda Beatz is one of the most successful Hip Hop producers of our time. He started playing the drums as a child and made his first beats at age 17. After collaborating with smaller artists, he eventually teamed up with Migos and has since then worked with some incredibly popular rappers. If you listen to Rap music, chances are pretty high that he’s responsible for some of your favorite tunes.

Butterfly

Since one of Murda Beatz’s best-known productions is “Butterfly Effect” by Travis Scott, we decided to name our take on this Murda Beatz drum kit “Butterfly” as well. However, while making the pack, we certainly listened to plenty of his records and were, therefore, able to recreate a wide selection of samples inspired by his signature sound. Some of the songs we took inspiration from include “Back on Road” by Gucci Mane, “Nice for What” by Drake, or “Motorsport” by Migos.
