40 Free Ableton Templates and Projects Files

Table of Contents

Ableton Live 10 is my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) of choice. It’s user-friendly, intuitive and offers a nice workflow. Since the program allows you to transfer your project files to other producers, there are plenty of free Ableton templates available.

Those Ableton templates can be very useful to get a “look behind the scenes” or overcome writer’s block. Going through a professional Ableton project file will teach you how to arrange, mix and master your songs. You can even pick your favorite samples and save them to your user library or get the help of a ghost producer to do the edits.

In order to make your life a bit easier, I compiled this list of the best Ableton templates you can find online. They’re divided into 6 categories so you can quickly jump to the genre you’d like to learn more about.

Oh.. and if you prefer FL Studio you might want to check out this list instead.

Hip Hop & Trap

Hip Hop is the world’s most popular genre right now, so I’m starting off this post with Ableton remakes of songs by artists, such as Juice WRLD, Drake, Lil Pump, Lil Uzi and Cardi B.

Below you’ll find a mix of different EDM influenced pop styles, inspired by artists like DJ Snake, Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Diplo, Major Lazer, Kygo or The Chainsmokers.

House & Techno

You’re a big fan of 120 BPM for-to-the-floor beats with offbeat open hats? Cool, here are some free Ableton templates for genres, such as House, Tech House or Future House.

You dream of releasing your next single on Never Say Die or Disciple? Below you’ll find hard hitting Dubstep templates, inspired by the likes of Virtual Riot, Zomboy and Excision.

Future Bass

If you want to sound like Marshmello, San Holo, Illenium, ODESZA, Louis The Child or Flume these are the project files you should definitely check out.

EDM & Big Room

The last category of this list is dedicated to EDM and Big Room producers who’d like to sound like W&W, Hardwell, Brooks, KSHMR or Martin Garrix.

There’s a quality project file I forgot to include in this list?
No worries, just send me an email and I’ll add it to this post 😉
